lol! i must see if i find back the driveway where someone was advertising stable manure.. with the drawing of a horse's head and the word 'poo'. cuz that's what it is..!
Around here use firewood at least half the year so am always happy when a "bloody good" load gets delivered. Got some really good slow hot burning stuff last year.
It had better not get cold anytime soon or we'll be depending entirely in firewood, there is a dead possum the heating duct so I have everything blocked off in an attempt to avoid dead possum smell being ducted through the whole house!!!!
Oh dear, Joan Elizabeth. And I thought a dead rodent in the wall cavity was bad. The dead possum will stop smelling eventually... but the sooner the better, right?
Welcome back, Julie. Your guess is as good as mine re those quotation marks. I read an article on just this subject recently, which you may find interesting: Please, Don't "Quote" Me

Jim: It tickled me, too. Where else but Australia, eh?
ReplyDeleteNikki: I’d love to see that horse poo sign. :)
Great sign at it looks like it must be true judging from the level of the woodpile.

ReplyDeleteToo right, the web says about 12 weeks ... only 10 left to go and that's going to take us mighty close to chilly weather.
ReplyDeleteSo ... why the quotation marks do you reckon? To avoid being thought of as rude?
