  3. How true! How true!

My son has owned I don't know how many motor bikes! And he has come off them. And smashed into concrete blocks. And skidded round corners.

I remember starting from when he was three, each year we would go to the Royal Easter Show when it was held at the old venue. The first thing we had to do was go to the old fella at the dodge-ems and ask to be measured. There was a stick poking out from the wall and if you reached the stick you could hire a dodgem. Alastair was not tall enough until he was nearly six!

  4. Does your son still ride motorbikes, Julie?

And I remember that stick. :)

  5. Hah! A tomboy ...

No he does not own anything now. He has no money. Last week he got his licence back after a year's suspension. The sad think is that he still has the head-space that is unable to acknowledge that society has a right to say where you can and cant park and how fast you can go etc.

  6. I feel your pain Mum, driving behind that vehicle. Clickety clack, bump, bump. Not mention what goes on when the vehicle's wheels hit the pavement!

  7. Jan, I think you might’ve got the wrong end of the stick so to speak. I’m not this guy’s mum or anyone’s mum for that matter.

If you click on the photo, you’ll see the back of the stock car says “Son’s Toy, Dad’s Joy, Mum’s Nightmare.” I picked the Mum’s Nightmare for the title.

We just happened to be driving behind them when they were on their way to the race track. :)
