Hi Joan Elizabeth, Lots of both of these. There was yellow and brown one as well but were mostly past their best. More wild flowers to come. I spent quite some time lying on the ground to get the best shots.
I have never seen so many orchids of one variety so widely spread before. Usually only in small pockets. Maybe the fires recently help create the right conditions in the soil and the mild winter.
Love that purple. I'd be thrilled if I came across one of those in the bush.
