Burrong Falls, Grampians National Park VIC

Burrong Falls are accessed along a gravel road deep in the middle of the Grampian Ranges. We were the only visitors, so this was a very peaceful spot to sit and take in the beauty of the place. There were many wildflowers out as well to further excite our senses. Post on the wildflowers to follow.

  1. There is quite a lot of water going over them showing up those terraces to perfection.

    1. Beautiful peaceful place with no other visitors to interrupt our enjoyment of this spot. Lots of wild flowers out too to add to the scene.

  2. Very nice! Funny how you guys had some isolation in a National Park! Here in the States, it's hard to find any solitude anywhere near a road in our National Parks.

    1. We are very spoiled in Australia. Alan and I seek out places where there are no other people, and if anyone else turns up, we leave and find another spot - there's plenty of them,

Where we live, we only have to travel 15kms to find solitude in the bush/forest. We are indeed fortunate.
