Really great shot of the Blood Moon Alan. It was too cloudy for us to see anything where we are at the moment (Canberra), so to see your photo is great. Also love the sunset shot. Beautiful depth showing the hills and, of course, the layers of colour in the sky :D)
That shot of the moon is really good. I missed it, didn't realise it was on. But have seen total lunar eclipses in the past so I guess it doesn't matter. Nice to see a post pop up on this blog again.
Thanks Susan and Joan Elizabeth. Missed it as it came over the horizon as I was concentrating on the sunset and nearly missed the chance to get this shot. The next one is on 8th Oct down the East coats of Oz. http://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/lunar/2014-october-8. AlanS
"Eucalypt Habitat" has been included in Tuesday's Sites To See for this week. Be assured that I hope this helps to point many new visitors in your direction.

Thanks for featuring Eucalypt Habitat in your post, Jerry! The photo you chose was one of Alan's favourites, as the flower was only 3mm across.
DeleteBreathtaking photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Donna. We've had the sunset one printed for framing, It's come up a treat.
