We had a small one of these in our garden when we moved in here and over the years it got really big. In the end I was glad that garden bed had to be disturbed during the renovations because it had to go.
Joan Elizabeth, We have had a white one that has just turned its toes up but this pink one is still holdng on. Think it is around 30years old so do not expect it last much longer.
Ahhh, nature's magician creating its finest.

What a hodge-podge of a name. Yet again, the symmetry within nature is a joy.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cherri, Jim and Julie.
ReplyDeleteAlan has a thing for macro shots. :)
Do you guys have dog roses in OZ?
ReplyDeleteThis rock rose looks a bit like them...
