  1. Hard to consider these beautiful - but they are in their own way. I used to live in a leafy suburb on the North Shore of Sydney, and on a regular basis I would be inundated with swamps of these blighters ... or ones that look eerily similar.

  4. They are not the most pleasant things to come across in the bush. They are known as 'spitfires' because they can squirt an irritating liquid as a defence.
