Destructive blighters! How on earth did they come by the knowledge of where the grubs were! I bet the smell of the exposed resin is a treat.
Boy are they strong birds. Hope they don't go after someones home.
Oh I'm glad that ones that visit my garden stick to pine cones.
They really are destructive;much different than our woodpeckers.
Julie, I'm not sure how they know the bugs are there, but they've only targeted the wattle trees.Randy, it's the Sulphur-crested Cockatoos that are destructive when it comes to houses. Windowsills are a speciality.
