Oh, my, what a beautiful bird. If we had birds like this in my area I think I'd photograph them too. Lovely!
But Chuck, you have beautiful buildings and people. I'm lucky if I see more than three people a week.
Beautiful. A great capture. Sydney - City and Suburbs
Lovely, I don't think I've noticed their feathers changing colour like that. I do however have a shot of a King Parrot in the process of a colour change which I will post sometime soon.
That is why blogging is so engrossing!! People who become almost ... real!Young birds changing their colours are like any other messy teenager. I love Crimson Rosellas. Something to do with the combination of colours that might be considered clashing.
how odd that they change their colours like that as they grow up, I only just understood that, but then we don't see them here, as far as I know.. i am more used to the rainbow lorikeets..lol, and Galahs..
Totally gorgeous - please send at once!!! :)) Axxx
The Rosella IS a beautiful bird. Great shot Vicki

Many thanks for the comments. It’s wonderful to be able to share my backyard like this.Anne, one Crimson Rosella teenager on its way. :) xx
